Keiki recently completed her Fine Art Commission of Beautiful Native Hawaiian Flowers. Her client, who is from Hawaii, wanted to bring in the essence and beauty of her home into a specific space in her California house.
The Ohia flower has significance in the Hawaiian culture. It symbolizes strength and fiery beauty as it is one of the first plants to grow back on new lava flows. The Ohia tree was used by Hawaiian natives to make tools, weapons, and clothes and thus, is woven into Hawaiian stories, songs, and ceremonies.
Nicknamed "the scent of Hawaii", Plumeria flowers are beloved for their delightful fragrance and vibrant colors. Plumerias are used to make leis and symbolize new beginnings, love, and beauty.

Keiki recently completed a piece of two Peony Flowers as a wedding commission and gift. The two Peonies symbolize the bride and grooms everlasting bond and is a lasting reminder of the special day.
My breath was taken away when I first saw the drawings. I was speechless because there were no words to describe the beauty of what I was seeing. The colors were so vibrant and the detail was so fine that it made the flowers look incredibly real. What an amazing artist Keiki is and so talented. Her artwork is simply unbelievable. I cannot wait to have these drawings hung in my home for everyone to enjoy. They are truly awesome birthday gifts!

It was a pleasure working with Keiki on the commissioned drawings. I wanted a drawing of a plumeria flower and an ohia flower and I’d sent Keiki a couple of pictures of each so she’d know the type of flowers I had in mind. Everything else I left to Keiki’s imagination because I wanted her to have the freedom to create. I knew I could trust Keiki to combine her creativity and her artistic skills to produce something magical. What she came up with were works of art that were delicate and ethereal. I could feel the passion and joy she put into her art and I am so happy with the end results.

I received a beautiful and deeply meaningful color drawing by Keiki as a very personal wedding gift. I was stunned by the gorgeous detailing of the two peony flowers! Simply amazing artistry! It’s personal meaning came through perfectly with the size and placement of the two flowers to represent my husband and me. I can just feel the love flowing between the two! Even the title Keiki used is special: “Love Blooms and Grows.” How appropriate for a wedding gift! I absolutely love the gorgeous drawing and it will have a special place in my home.
